Arc Raiders: Dust on the Wires Quest Guide-Full Walkthrough Tips & How to Complete All Steps By IGGM.com

Dust on the Wires mission is one of the new additions to Arc Raiders in the Flashpoint update. It involves tracing the last signal left by a reconnaissance team through dusty power lines.

Completing this mission will reward you with experience points and Arc Raiders coins, and will also unlock subsequent missions, such as Fragmented Logs Quest.

The mission itself isn’t particularly difficult, but it involves numerous steps and many things to be aware of. The spaceport map, where the mission takes place, may contain ARCs and other players, potentially leading to conflict.

Therefore, IGGM.com, a professional website providing walkthroughs for players, will provide a detailed guide to completing Dust on the Wires mission.

Mission Overview

Dust on the Wires mission requires players to complete a total of six steps, travel to two locations, and in the final step, retrieve the key mission item, Scout Patrol Note, and safely extract to deliver it to Shani.

It’s important to note that these six steps must be completed consecutively within the same game; they cannot be completed in batches. If you die during the mission, you must start over.

Essential Preparation

Safe Pocket

This is the most crucial piece of equipment for completing Dust on the Wires mission. Scout Patrol Note is your final key item for completing the mission; if you are knocked down during extraction, the note will drop, and you’ll lose everything. Therefore, you need to equip an enhanced Augment with a safe pocket.

A regular Augment can only hold one item, while higher-tier Augments like Looting Mk. 2 can hold two, and Looting Mk. 3 is a rare, universal safe pocket that can hold any item.

Using Looting Mk. 3 as a safe pocket will not only make this mission much easier, but it will also be extremely useful in other missions and matches. It can hold high-level equipment and weapons you bring into the game, allowing you to safely evacuate them even if you are knocked down. However, its Blueprint is very difficult to obtain.

If you haven’t acquired cheap Looting Mk. 3 blueprint yet, you can buy it directly from IGGM.com. We’ll provide you with an exclusive discount code ARC8, saving you 8% money. Furthermore, our shipping method is secure and fast.

Adrenaline Shots

This mission involves numerous steps and spans a large area: traversing the east and west ends of the spaceport map. This means you’ll need to travel long distances in the game, so carrying plenty of Adrenaline Shots is essential. They will provide stamina, making your journeys smoother.

Weapons

While the main focus of this mission is interacting with items upon reaching specific locations, and combat is unlikely, IGGM recommends carrying defensive gear and standard weapons to avoid potential encounters with ARCs and hostile players.

Mission Steps

1. Head to Field Depots

The first step of the mission is to head to Field Depots on the east side of the spaceport. There are two Field Depots in the spaceport: one northwest of the service building and the other south of the rocket assembly plant.

Field Depots are easy to spot; their rooftops have prominent antennas. IGGM recommends going to the southernmost Field Depot, as it’s right next to the next mission objective, saving a significant amount of time.

2. Send Reconnaissance Squad Log

Upon entering Field Depot, there’s a glowing yellow terminal (field radio) on the only table in the room. Approach and interact to send the reconnaissance squad’s last log to Shani. This completes step two, and the mission log will be updated.

3. Head to Old Raider Tower

After completing the mission, you need to proceed to the next mission location. You need to cross the map to the western side, with the objective being Old Raider Tower, north of Maintenance Hangar. Maintenance Hangar is located in the southern part of the spaceport map, between Staff Parking and Fuel Storage.

From the northwest of Maintenance Hangar, follow the path until you see a tower built of scrap metal; this is the Old Raider Tower. Finally, climb the stairs around the tower to the top and find the yellow-marked terminal inside. Interact with it to send the reconnaissance data to Shani.

4. Find ARC’s trail

After descending from Old Raider Tower, go around to the other side of Maintenance Hangar. On the slope southwest of Maintenance Hangar, there are some overturned carts. When you approach these carts, you’ll see an interaction prompt for Transmit Location. After interacting, the mission log will update again.

5. Search Scout Patrol Note

After completing step four, walk south a short distance from the previous location. You’ll find another cart containing a blue tarpaulin and a bucket. Approach this cart and interact with it; Scout Patrol Note will drop. Be sure to put this note in your safe pocket; the key to mission completion lies in this note.

6. Safe Escape

ARCs and other players may appear nearby. Be sure to protect the note and put it in your safe pocket so you won’t lose it even if you can’t evacuate safely. After collecting the notes, you can find the nearest extraction point to evacuate.

Alternatively, you can choose not to evacuate immediately and select the safest extraction point based on the actual battle situation, even if it’s farther away. Once safely evacuated, bring the notes to Shani to complete the mission.

In summary, the core challenge of this mission is that you must complete these steps consecutively within a single game, and the distance adds unknown risks to its completion.

However, IGGM provides detailed mission information, locations, shortcuts, and necessary equipment, greatly reducing the risks. Please review this guide before playing the game; it will greatly enhance your mission completion.
